28 Jan - 10 Feb 2009

Been to Egypt and want more? Or going once and want it all? This is the Egypt for you. With Professor Vince Resh, visit Alexandria's magnificent iconic modern library and fabulous Greco-Roman collections. See the WWII battle site of El Alamein en route to the magical desert hotel at Siwa Oasis.

Egypt

Berber villages, a salt lake, an off-road drive across the Sahara Desert, the Valley of the Golden Mummies, soaring dunes and the black desert are just some of the treats in store. Marvel at the wonders of Cairo and Luxor and take a more in depth view and peruse sites less frequently seen as well as all the "must see" temples and tombs. Extensions: Pre to Jordan to marvel at Petra & Jerash, and post traditional cruise from Luxor to Aswan on Tu-ya and flight to Abu-Simbel.
