Brad King Cal Spirit & History Fund The Brad King Cal Spirit & History Fund provides Cal student organizations and alumni groups with funding to implement campus projects that help to preserve Cal history.
Brad King Bradford S. King '77 (1955-1983) was a collector of Cal history, lore and spirit. As an undergraduate, he was chair of the UC Rally Committee, and a member of the UC Men's Octet and the Order of the Golden Bear, which awarded him the Charles Mills Gayley Award.
Brad was instrumental in the restoration of the official Axe Trophy, the refurbishment of the Big "C", and the movement to renovate Senior Hall -- among his many accomplishments in preserving history at Cal during his life, which was cut short in a rafting accident. This fund strives to continue Brad's dedication to preserving the spirit, history, and tradition of Cal.
