Program RequirementsThe Achievement Award is renewable each year provided that the scholar remains eligible for financial aid, meets the minimum guidelines for "satisfactory progress" as required by the Office of Financial Aid, and actively participates in the Achievement Award program as outlined in the Achievement Award Annual Student/CAA Mutual Agreement. The award amount may change each semester depending on financial need. Incoming freshmen may receive the award for a total of eight semesters and incoming junior transfers for four semesters. These semesters do not need to be in succession. The specific requirements listed in the Annual Student/CAA Mutual Agreement are intended to: - To build a strong community of TAAP Scholars, that can support, inspire, and help each other for decades to come
- To provide you with important information or resources during your college career
- To reinforce the larger TAAP community, which includes TAAP alumni, volunteers, donors, friends, and family
With that in mind, you are undertaking a significant commitment of time and energy. In return, TAAP staff pledges to: - Keep information relevant, succinct, and accessible to you
- Process your financial award in a timely manner, to prevent delays to your academic advancement
- Be available to answer questions and guide you towards resources, people, experiences, and information that will enhance your college career
