CAA engages communities of color through a variety of outreach and volunteer opportunities.

Yield

Yield is a spring program for alumni to recruit underrepresented admitted students to enroll in UC Berkeley. Opportunities include:
  • Attend New Student Receptions for African-America/Black and Chicano/Latino students

  • Volunteer for the Calling Program that lets admitted African-America/Black and Chicano/Latino students speak to alumni of similar background and experience over a phone call.

Outreach

CAA, in collaboration with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, provides training for alumni to participate in college fairs held at local high schools and community colleges in the fall. These trainings are conducted in the late summer. For more information please go here
