Alumni Leadership Scholarship

Recognizes students with strong academic ability and demonstrated leadership.

  • Distributes nearly $1 million to students each year.
  • Mobilizes 600 alumni to interview applicants.
  • Grants at least $1,000 to each Alumni Scholar.
  • Provides leadership opportunities through the Alumni Scholars Association.
      • The Alumni Leadership Scholarship is one of the most respected scholarship programs on campus, as well as one of the oldest. We’ve recognized over 8,000 student leaders since the program began in 1934—all because of donors like you. I hope you will support the program once again this year.

      Our Alumni Scholars are leaders on campus and off. They are ASUC senators and members of honor societies. They act as tutors and mentor younger students, and they serve as leaders in many student organizations. They organize community projects such as Eggster—the largest free egg hunt and learning festival in northern California!

      The students are grateful that you recognize and reward their hard work with your ongoing support:
