Women's Wellness Weekend
Thursday, Sept. 3 - Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009

Sponsored by Luna
After an incredibly successful debut in 2008, we are reprising our weekend for women only! Tell a friend and join us in our pristine mountain playground for a program that promises to rejuvenate, refresh and restore.

And you do not need to be a Cal graduate to attend!

NEW for 2009!
Due to popular demand, we've added a day to this wonderful new adult Lair tradition! Our program has been expanded to 3 full days, and this year it will take place at Camp Blue.
Our professionally trained staff will guide you through a fantastic program, including:
  • pilates, yoga, stretching and strength training
  • professionally led high-Sierra hikes
  • exciting and informative lectures on women's health and wellness issues
  • kayaking at beautiful Pinecrest Lake
  • art sessions
  • water aerobics
  • a healthy Lair menu - we do all the cooking!
  • therapeutic, professional massage*
  • sleeping in
Classes and activities are offered frequently throughout the weekend, with plenty of opportunities to participate. There’s also ample time to relax, swim in our heated pool, chat with fellow campers during a late afternoon social, or do your own thing. At the evening campfires, guest lecturers will speak on issues of women’s wellness, then afterwards, we’ll break out the guitars and enjoy s’mores!

Meals and Accommodations

Camping at the Lair never feels like roughing it. Tent cabins with canvas tops and wooden floors are rustic, but cozy. Modern bathrooms with plenty of hot water are just steps away. And for this new special weekend, our Lair chefs will prepare healthy meals to feed and nurture your body and soul.

  • Warm bedding (pillow, sleeping bag or sheets and warm blankets)
  • Casual clothes for very warm days and very cold evenings
  • Musical Instruments
  • Athletic gear (tennis, softball, swimming, golf)
  • Sunscreen, toiletries, towels
  • Favorite beverages (and a cooler)
  • Flashlight
  • Hiking gear
  • Yoga Mat

What women at our 2008 Weekend enjoyed most:

  • The variety of activities, the beautiful setting, star-gazing, the facial, meeting people, the pool - everyone was so friendly!
  • We never stopped! I enjoyed everything we did! I just didn't get a chance to do everything I wanted to try. But that's a good problem.
  • The women, the environment and the ability to engage in activities or just relax.
  • Being in Pinecrest with friends. Not having to think about food, cooking, etc. The atmosphere and not having to wear work clothes and makeup.
  • Not having to think----no meal planning-- no one to entertain- just being!

Bring a friend, sister, aunt, niece, mom, daughter, cousin…or just bring yourself, as you’re sure to meet new friends in this warm and welcoming environment.
