Club Lair
Aug 24 - 31, 2008

Your Club Lair vacation features a seamless blend of wildly diversified activity and relaxation—yes, it's summer camp for adults, with or without significant others!

Want a workout or would you prefer taking it easy? With a range of outdoor fun that would put the Olympics to shame, there is truly something for everyone's recreational appetite in our pristine Sierra playground.

Led by the incomparable Emily Forbes, your program will run the full gamut! Talk about variety! We offer daily tennis instruction, swimming, hiking, improvisation, Lair-eoke, dance, yoga, wellness and massage (massage offered at additional charge) and an incredibly popular gourd-art program. You will be treated to a fantastic menu, the now legendary Pinecrest lake cruise, and our world-famous Lair golf tournament (real clubs with tennis balls!). Be sure to keep some energy back for the evening cocktail parties, dance instruction and our signature campfire shows!

AND - This year, we are featuring two specialized drop-in programs at Club Lair: Ray Doubleday's "Fitness University," which has been described as a "high-tech, pain-free fitness education that's as good for your brain as it is for your muscles"; and Ted Ganio and Ryan Hodgkin lead "Introduction to Mountain Adventure," which includes lake kayaking, high-Sierra hiking, horseback riding, and beer making, among with many other simultaneously silly and serious mountain activities.

What makes Club Lair special? There's no better way to describe it - at the Lair, we are passionate about the camper experience. So from the first minute of your arrival to the final campfire, you will be treated to a very special energy - one that can only be described as "Lair."

First class meals such as rack of lamb, fresh salads, abundant produce and fresh baked desserts are prepared by special chefs brought in just for the week. See sample menu for Club Lair (.pdf).
