My work experience includes interning for Children's Hospital of Oakland Research Institute as an assistant in their Hematology lab. I have several years of experience working as a tutor for the Oakland Unified School District. I also interned for the Oakland Unified School District's television station, KDOL, as a video production assistant. I Work Best I enjoy being of service and am interested in a career in the helping professions. I work best with people who work in cooperation toward a common goal. My Dream Job Would Be I am interested in working in a clinical setting to address healthcare issues within my community. My Next Step I am seeking an entry-level position that would hopefully give me the opportunity to work with a speech pathologist, an audiologist, or work in a healthcare or laboratory setting. I would also be interested in working for a non-profit organization, or in public service. I am planning to apply to a graduate speech pathology/audiology program next year and I would like to network with individuals in those fields so that I can be certain of my graduate school direction.
